We have added a forum section called INNER EAR to the website – for a while now we have been building special orders and posting order builds in a Facebook group of the same name, but as more people started contributing to order builds, we have found ourselves using up to 6 different messaging channels, which has been causing some chaos.
The forum credentials are the same as your webstore login. By default, only a general information area is available unless you opt in to the special order area.
This is not going to be a general discussion forum. We will be using this forum to post priced preorder lists from the distributors we deal with most frequently. The whole process is in a nascent beta format currently, but we are already posting lists from a couple of our distributors and labels (releases from labels like Relapse, Season Of Mist, High Roller, etc, with a ton more being added as we find time to format them). The lists posted and available here are already public – we will not be making confidential lists available to the public for unannounced drops via these channels. However this does allow people to special order anything from a range of distributors and takes the guesswork out of stocking the distro – especially useful when considering cannon releases that may not get as much attention here as we max out our buying budget on underground titles weekly.

When you are ready to start participating in special orders you can view the information posted below to opt in to the special order forums and begin using the order forms. We are currently building an order with High Roller. If there is sufficient interest, we can begin making order on a rolling basis as soon as we hit the minimum order quantity that makes postage make sense.

Work in progress. We have already begun to make changes from feedback so continue to provide both positive and negative.

When you click on the link, the list will open as a copy in google sheets.
The main window is an order summary. (Local tax rates are shown, but this will be adjusted for your specific circumstance).
Order quantities are added and the order information pane is updated automatically.
Once you are ready to submit the request, you export the file as a PDF and email it to us from within Sheets.
When we receive the order, we will correct the tax rates and send you an updated total with payment information and an ETA on when the order will arrive.
Postage will be calculated separately for the time being. Orders will be submitted on a rolling basis as soon as we hit a minimum order amount, and the next order will begin to build immediately.
We are very happy to have a mechanism for this – if uptake is strong we can be filling orders as often as weekly from multiple distributors. This includes more than just metal titles – some of our national distributors have massive reach so we can be filling gift requests for people who can’t read any of these logos as well. I would encourage people to check out the available lists.
As an incentive we will be giving a 10% discount on posted prices for the first time each user places an order using the order sheet method described above (not including posts in the forum – we would like to test the order form method specifically).
