November-coming-fire is upon us and the truly terrifying holiday season is just around the corner. Here is a snapshot of whats coming up in our corner of this collapsing hologram.
EVERYONE: We have a few open preorders to update you on:
IXIOL – our October shipment is just being extricated from Customs and will begin shipping next week (Nov 4-9) with local pickups available from the 9th of Nov. The Lysergic LP, the Vrasublatat label retrospective and the laterst Trha split with Midoran and still available and are all worth your attention.
CORRUPTED – These were delayed waiting for some shirts and are shipping from Spain this upcoming week, so look for them to be in hand from approximately mid-November. Preorders are still available – exclusive (if slightly delayed) Canadian distribution.
NACHTLICH – we are waiting on copies from the band – sorted ASAP. Preorder continues unabated.
We are also going to be getting selections from the imminent GOATOWAREX batch. If you have not been contacted, please wait until we have confirmed our available titles. We will let you know when they will become available.
LOCALS: We are back to an all-Saturday schedule throughout November at the Headless void (12-6 PM, 318 McDermot, Winnipeg – visit us if you’re nearby, but let us know you’re coming).
In addition to the above, on Friday, Nov 29th, we are celebrating/ignoring BLACK FRIDAY with an encore appearance at Barn Hammer Brewing (595 Wall St, Wpg). Details are TBA but expect a few tables of die hards selling records. They are reserving a keg of BLACK MASS for the event (the @beersandbaphomet creation, whose launch we tabled a couple of weeks ago). If you didnt get a chance to sample the black lager then, do it on Black Friday. It’s likely getting low and by all accounts, fucking delicious. CARCOSA MARKET (Dec 14/15, 318 McDermot, first floor gallery)
December 14-15, we have 2 days of market activities as the first CARCOSA market takes place in the McDermot gallery space on the main floor of 318 McDermot. If that address looks familiar, it is because it is the main floor of the building that houses the Headless Void. Over two days we will be joined by 6 tables and an anteroom full of vendors, bringing records of all stripes as well as outsider vintage and textiles, fine jewelry, horrific art, and talismanic energy. 10-4 PM both days, free admission, Krampus photo booth, fundraiser for Feral Friends Sanctuary. There is something here for anyone with taste, style and a capacity for philosophy.
