The return of Bruce Dickinson after a 7 year departure and Adrian Smith after a 10 year departure, Brave New World is the 12th Maiden studio album and first as a six piece with Janick Gers (Smith’s replacement) remaining in the band. It was also the first album the band would record live in the studio.
NME, the hack idiot music rag, hated this record when it was released, so you know it is excellent.
