Description
Mutable Body recently played a dungeon synth set along with Germany’s Radagast. This is a different breed of work; A companion piece to an as-yet unpublished sci-fi novel of the same name – and when you think of this, I want you to think of expansive stellar utopia/dystopia and inner psychic drama. This is a fully realized multi-instrumental composition that tells it’s own story in the voice of a specific narrator accessible only to the listener.
“Night Between Worlds was written during 2021-2024 while writing an as-yet unreleased science fiction novel of the same name. It serves as both soundtrack and abstract companion piece to the novel.
You can look forward to the release of the book that this album was based off of… when it’s done.

Several songs feature live performances from my 2023 Grad Recital from the Composition program at the Desautels Faculty of Music, University of Manitoba.”
