En el crepúsculo de la Independencia Mexicana y en el aniversario de la derrota española a manos de los guerreros triunfantes guatemaltecos, Volahn reclama su dominio en este día patriótico y de profundo significado para nuestra gente. Más de dos siglos después, la memoria y la fuerza de nuestra cultura Maya sigue viva y florece en la música y en la vida de sus descendientes. Desde la selva mexicana en Palenque hasta el Templo del Gran Jaguar en Tikal, la sabiduría ancestral escrita en el Popol Vuh resurge y reclama su lugar en la eternidad.
El Círculo del Crepúsculo Negro toma la antorcha de legendarios ejemplos como Les Légions Noires, The Black Inner Circle y The Blazebirth Hall. Una década después de Aq’Ab’Al, el tercer opus ofrece una mezcla magistral de disonancias y armonías paganas, pintando con exactitud musical el descenso a Xibalba de los héroes gemelos, Balam y Hunahpú.
Aunque muchos han intentado imitar lo que el Crepúsculo Negro y Volahn han hecho por nuestra gente y nuestra cultura, solo nuestro Círculo actúa y se mueve con estándares tan elevados. Nuestras alianzas son pocas, nuestros enemigos son muchos: podrán imitar, pero jamás podrán replicar ni alcanzar el nivel de nuestro Círculo Negro.

“At the twilight of Mexican Independence and on the anniversary of the Spanish defeat at the hands of the triumphant Guatemalan warriors, Volahn proclaims its dominion on this patriotic day of profound meaning for our people. More than two centuries later, the memory and strength of our Maya culture remain alive and flourish in the music and in the lives of its descendants. From the Mexican jungle in Palenque to the Temple of the Great Jaguar in Tikal, the ancestral wisdom written in the Popol Vuh resurfaces and claims its place in eternity.
The Black Twilight Circle takes up the torch from legendary examples such as Les Légions Noires, The Black Inner Circle, and The Blazebirth Hall. A decade after Aq’Ab’Al, the third opus offers a masterful blend of dissonances and pagan harmonies, painting with musical precision the descent into Xibalba of the hero twins, Balam and Hunahpú.
Although many have tried to imitate what the Black Twilight Circle and Volahn have done for our people and our culture, only our Circle acts and moves with such elevated standards. Our alliances are few, our enemies are many: they may imitate, but they will never be able to replicate nor reach the level of our Black Circle.
