Welcome to 2026. The last few months were paritcularly busy for us, with 3 (!!) appearances at Carcosa, one at Punk Rock Flea Market, our collaboration with Barn Hammer on a Czech dark lager named Vodnik (featuring art by Rotting Reign and nearly sold out), and 2 waves of fundraising for Feral Friends Sanctuary (we did a run of King Diamond inspired shirts and mugs, and raised $1200 in 2025 – they are still available!). In early 2026 we are carrying that momentum forward and turning some attention to the inner workings of the distro and a refinement of process. Thank you for continuing to ride the blade with us.
A RENEWED FOCUS ON THE MAILING LIST
Last week our Instagram got flagged and limited for posting a picture (8 months previous) of the brilliant cover of the Totalitar – Sin Egen Motstandare LP, which features a cartoon man holding a gun to his head in a mirror. We had already been feeling the need for a more central informational anchor, but this was a salient reminder that we can’t rely on third party platforms with uneven, machine-driven moderation policies for important communication.
To that end we are renewing our focus on the mailing list. We will continue to post on IG and elsewhere, but these weekly updates will be the system of truth.
The format is not new, but synchronized with additions to the webstore. Once we have our footing with the weekly schedule it will evolve to give mailing list subscribers advance notification of additions to the webstore before they go live to the public.
We aren’t looking to drown people in information or harass people into completing an abandoned checkout process, this is strictly to provide an algorithm free space for information to arrive on a schedule and persist for reference.
The latter part of the mailouts will include a list of upcoming events and operational info (such as mailorder schedules, Headless Void hours and contact info).
